768P or 2K Tiny Desk AI video: which output should you choose?
Compare Tiny Desk AI 768P and 2K credits, file size, and what higher resolution cannot fix before you generate.
Tiny Desk AI is an independent, fan-made photo-to-video generator. It is not NPR, and it is not affiliated with the Tiny Desk concert series.
The tiny desk AI video generator always outputs a 15-second 9:16 H.264 MP4 in the desk-lamp-mic look. You pick 768P or 2K in the studio.
What changes between 768P and 2K?
The desk, lamp, mic, and duration do not change. Credits do.
| Output | Credits |
|---|---|
| 768P | 15 |
| 2K | 25 |
768P is the practical default: one clip from the 1 Video pack. 2K costs more and can look sharper on a large phone screen if the source photo is already sharp. Extra pixels cannot restore a blurry face, closed eyes, or a heavy filter.
A 10 Video pack (150 credits) covers ten 768P clips or six 2K clips.
What about audio?
Credits pay for the visual clip, not a music license. This site does not sell or advertise a commercial master. For posts, check the platform’s music rules and add audio you have the right to use after you download. See Tiny Desk AI audio rights.
Credits, refunds, and downloads
One-time packs: $4.90 / 1, $9.90 / 3, $12.90 / 5, $19.90 / 10 (768P). No signup grant. Failed or blocked jobs return reserved credits — not cash. Finished clips stay downloadable for seven days. Full table: tiny desk AI pricing.
What to check before you generate
- Photos you have the right to use. No public figures, anyone under 18, or copyrighted characters.
- Front-facing, eyes visible, even light. See best photos for Tiny Desk AI.
- You do not write a prompt. Wording is documented on tiny desk AI prompts.
- Review the MP4 before you post. Likeness, hands, and motion can still drift.
Open the generator, pick 768P or 2K, and generate.
